Exec and files

A real terminal

Open a pod's Exec tab and pick the container. Two modes:

• Shell (/bin/sh) starts a shell in the container with a full terminal: colors, cursor apps like vi, top and htop, tab completion and resizing.
• Attach (main process) connects to the container's main process and shows its live output, without starting a new shell.

The session ends when you close the detail pane or select another object.

Copying files

Copy Files… in a pod's header moves files without kubectl cp:

• Download from pod saves a file from the container to your Mac.
• Upload to pod sends a file from your Mac into the container.

Transfers are binary-safe and the size is checked end to end.
